About Me

I am a License Mental Health Counselor and a Master Credential Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor. I have been working in the addiction and counseling field for over 10 years. I earned Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Medaille College in Buffalo, NY. In addition, I possess a bachelors degree in Psychology and Criminal Justice with a concentration in Child Clinical Studies and Forensic Psychology from Canisius College also in Buffalo, NY.

My current experience and expertise is centered on providing addiction and mental health counseling to adults with who may have conflict, emotional, behavioral, relationships, and substance abuse issues. I realize that people have different feelings about mental health and counseling for legitimate reasons, however, I invite you to explore those concerns with me in a supportive environment.

You will be treated with respect in all aspects of the therapeutic relationship, from using your chosen pronouns, to seeing you as a whole person beyond any label you may have been given coming from a multicultural lens. My wish, is for you to realize, from the moment you encounter me that you are in a safe, non-judgmental space.

Where there is hope, there is faith, where there is faith, miracles happen.

I look forward to meeting with you and helping you on your journey towards a happier, mindful and satisfying life.

FAQ

I am just ordinary person who loves doing what I do! I am here to assist you and ultimately you make the final decision, I am just coming alongside you for the journey. You’ll find me working hard, thinking about you in between sessions, prepping for sessions, remembering details about you, and laughing along side you.

Everyone’s experience with therapy is different and the outcome may vary. However, it is good to understand that you get from therapy what you put in. Some of the benefits to therapy are:

  • Changing old behavior patterns and developing new ones
  • Learning new ways to cope with stress, anxiety, etc
  • Understanding yourself better as well as clarify your goals and values
  • Developing skills for maintaining healthy relationships
  • Improving communication and listening skills
  • Discovering new ways to problem solve
  • Adjust to new life changes

You do not have to do anything you don’t want to! But if you want to make a meaningful changes to your life and relationships, the length of treatment is based on your needs and what you want to accomplish in counseling.

I am here to assist and meet you were you are in your journey. I’ve had clients who have come for a few sessions, followed through with recommendations in between sessions, and felt better and moved on.

I’ve also had clients come back into treatment as needed, or stay on to work on more complex issues. While it’s hard to predict how long therapy will take, I promise I won’t keep you for longer than needed.

I currently take Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Aetna, and MVP Insurance. More insurance soon to come.

I offer affordable counseling services with easy to use payment options.

  • Individual Session $110
  • Couple/Family Session $150
